I am most interested in the process of viewing an image and the intake of imagery and how we perceive and process it. How we internalize imagery. How do we remember an image?
+ Also I’m attract to the glitches that occur when using technology and the glitches that occur within our memory. I am concerned with the evolution of the original image and the many forms it takes. This image, for example, was film, perhaps printed?, scanned, placed on the internet, recorded, and now is a jumbled up in an abstract distortion from the original. Wait, no, it might even have started as a video, still frame, photo, internet, animated through the scrolling of the internet, recorded and distorted, now final image.
I guess what it was (in specific detail) isn’t so much my point, but in general, what forms has the image taken on and what form will it take? It’s about the functionality of the brain and how an image exists. Plus, the malfunctioning of technology.
